FEDERAL Government, Friday, said over 50 presidents and heads of government across the globe would attend the inauguration of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
To this end, activities marking the 2015 Presidential Inauguration come May 29 on Friday kicked off with a Special Jummu’at Prayers held at the National Mosque, Abuja.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja on the preparations for the one week programme, the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub- Committee of the Presidential Inauguration Planning Committee, Chief Edem Duke said invitation cards had been dispatched to all the 54 countries in the African continent and other countries of the world.
Duke, who is also the Minister of Culture and Tourism, maintained that a high security strategy is being put in place for a hitch-free inauguration.
