Award-winning Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti has just undergone surgery at an undisclosed hospital.

This was known to the public after his sister, Yeni Kuti who shared a photo of the 53-year-old singer after the operation.

His estranged wife, Funke Kuti, who was with him during the operation, shared a video of him leaving the operating theatre, in a wheel chair. She revealed that Femi composed 10 songs in his morphine-induced state.

 

“Baba Made. Femi after his emergency surgery today . We thank God for his life. Everything went well and he is Home bound still strong.. Discharged this evening . Omo Baba E! Always strong no matter what they are going through. Kai !!! I have some very funny videos o when he was still high on morphine after the surgery !!! Hilarious.😂😂😂.
