Baring any unforeseen circumstances, the incumbent governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is coasting to victory in the 2015 gubernatorial election in the state.

Feelers from INEC have confirmed that Governor Ajimobi has won in 9 local governments in Ibadan, eight out of the 10 in Oke Ogun, the four local governments in Oyo, two local governments out of the three in Ibarapa and one out of the five local governments in Ogbomoso.

Ladoja was said to have won two local governments in Ibadan, one in Ibarapa and one in Ogbomoso. The candidate of Labour Party, Alao Akala was said to have won in two local governments in Oke Ogun and three local governments in Ogbomoso.
