In a statement issued by Francis John, International Coordinator of the party, he said: “APC USA joins the White House in welcoming President Muhammadu Buhari to Washington DC on July 20,” he said.
“We thank President Obama for this invitation and look forward to a mutual agreement between America and Nigeria.”
Buhari will visit the US on a three-day official visit between July 20 and 23. A source close to the Presidency says discussion about bringing an end to Islamist sect, Boko Haram, will be top of the bill.
“Francis John, international coordinator; Alhaji Muftau Medupin, Secretary General; Mesi Ada Usiade, Diaspora Woman Leader and Mrs. Kennie Usman Katsina, Chair Board of Trustee will welcome Buhari in Washington DC,” the statement said.
