President Muhammadu Buhari has sent to the Senate a 47-man list of career ambassadors.
The nominees are to be screened by the Senate before their deployment to the country’s foreign embassies.
On assumption of duty, Buhari recalled a substantial number of Ambassadors from their duty posts.
Since then, it has been a waiting game for the nomination of new ones.
