A 90-year-old woman, Hajia Fadimatu Mai Talle Tara has donated the sum of N1million to support the campaign of Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Gistreel reported.
It was gathered that Hajia Tara waited for nine hours for the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari to come to Birnin Kebbi, capital of Kebbi state for his presidential rally.

Hajia Tara donated N1m of her life savings for Buhari’s campaign. Buhari was so moved her kind gesture that he shed tears.

According to a key member of late President Umaru Musa Yar’dua K43 group, Babanginda Ruma said “Muhammadu Buhari was in Kebbi last week, he intially refused to accept the old woman’s donation out of sympathy, but she compelled him to accept it”

Hajia Tara is said to be an entrepreneur.
