Just like vice-president Namadi Sambo, The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Mohammed, has failed to deliver his polling unit at Jibril Aminu Primary School Bauchi to the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) candidate President Goodluck Jonathan.
The presiding officer announced that PDP got 96 votes while the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, General Buhari got 326.
For Senatorial seat PDP scored 116, APC 301 and for the House of Representatives PDP scored 102 APC scored 310.
General Muhammadu Buhari has won the polling units of the minister of education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau and that of the minister of foreign affairs, Ambassador Aminu Wali in Kano State.
The duo are the main promoters of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in Kano state.
At the polling unit of Shekarau 022, Buhari got 306 and Jonathan polled 17. It was same at Wali’s unit as Buhari got 198 and Jonathan polled 4 in Giginyu area of Nasarawa local government area of the state.
Also at the two polling units, Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano state walloped Senator Bashir Garba Lado of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
At Shekarau polling unit, Kwankwaso got 306 and Lado went home with 38 votes while at Wali’s polling unit Kwankwaso got 159 and Lado got 43 votes.
Jonathan appointed duo as senior ministers in order to woo the Kano state electorates. The two ministers are from the same Nasarawa local government area.
