The National Coordinator , Oodua Peoples’ Congress , Otunba Gani Adams made history yesterday in the United Kingdom when he floated a Radio Station and an Online magazine solely for the promotion of “the pristine Yoruba culture , tourism heritage and tradition”
The event took place on Tuesday, 17th November, at Oodua Voice UK Office premises, Durning Hall Community Centre,Earlham Grove, Forest Gate, London E7 9AB.

The media outfit which is sponsored by the outstanding culture promoter prides itself with the Theme: ..Advancing cultural values, unity and tradition of Yorubas in diaspora.

According to Otunba Adams, Oodua Voice is a charitable incorporated media organisation for supporting the cause of advancement of Yoruba heritage, promotion of language, music, arts, unity and social-cultural values among the Yorubas.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by many distinguished Nigerians and eminent personalities who commended Otunba Adams for doing the Yoruba race proud ‘
A veteran Nigerian born Britain based journalist , Mr Fatai Ogunribido described the stride of Otunba Adams as “the best thing that has ever happened to the promotion and sustenance of Yoruba culture and tradition in recent time ”

He said that that Oodua Voice has come to stay and would be the best of such station in the UK .
