Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, on Sunday led a delegation on a condolence visit to the All Progressives Congress Chairman, Isaac Kekemeke, following the passing away of his wife, Celestina.
Mimiko, at Kekemeke’s residence in Akure, urged the bereaved family to console themselves in the Lord noting that the deceased died in the Lord.
The governor said the heart and prayers of members of his administration were with the family and prayed God to grant the family members the fortitude to bear the loss.
Responding, Kekemeke thanked the Mimiko and his team for the visit, noting that his family members had been greatly encouraged by the show of solidarity to him across party, religious and cultural lines.
He said, “This shows that we are one people. My family members are consoled by the great inter-party support received since the demise of my wife.”
