A 90-year old woman, Hajia Fadimatu Mai Talle Tara who donated her life savings of N1 million support the campaign of President Mohammadu Buhari was among the dignitaries who graced the historical Inauguration ceremony yesterday.

Hajia Tara was sighted at the inauguration, sitting in the midst of the thousands of dignitaries. She smiled with a deep sense of joy, at her dream coming to fruition. She had the privilege of sitting among notable dignitaries (both foreign and national) inside the VIP states box at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

It will be recalled, that Hajia Tara, as reported by The ELITES last January, had donated the sum of N1million to support Buhari’s presidential aspiration. She had waited for nine hours for President Buhari to come to Birnin Kebbi, capital of Kebbi state during his presidential rally.

She later donated N1m of her life savings for Buhari’s campaign.

Buhari was so moved by her kind gesture that he shed tears. Initially, he had refused to accept the old woman’s donation out of sympathy. But she compelled him to accept it”

While preparing for the Inauguration ceremony, President Buhari was reported to have requested that the 90-year old woman be invited for the event.

Hajia Tara is said to be an entrepreneur.
