Today, Saturday, October 16, 2021, all roads will lead to Offa and the historical town in Kwara State will wear a festive glow when Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Okikiola Ajagungbade I, Esuwoye II, the Olofa of Offa, plays host to a galaxy of prominent dignitaries. 

The presence of the prominent dignitaries in Offa is at the behest of Alhaji Tajudeen Owoyemi Salaudeen Adetoyi, the prominent business magnate and hospitality guru. He will be conferred with the Asiwaju of Offa kingdom. 

Similarly, his delectable wife, Alhaja Bola-Rianat Owoyemi Salaudeen Adetoyi will also bag the title of Yeye Asiwaju of Offa kingdom. 

The installation ceremony is slated to hold at the Olofa’s Palace, and will then be followed by a grand reception at The Imperial Event Centre, Opposite Summit University, Irra Road, Offa.

The king of Fuji music and Mayegun of Yorubaland, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, K1 The Ultimate will be on the bandstand to entertain the guests. Wave-making event planner, Kehinde Onabanjo-Iyiola will handle the epoch-making event. 

The title of Asiwaju, a preeminent position, is usually reserved for the most important personality in a town. It is, deservedly, being given to Owoyemi, who is the third person to hold the position.
