A former member of the House of Representatives member, Anthony Madwatte, has died.
Mr. Madwatte represented Numan, Lamurde, Demsa Federal Constituency of Adamawa State, between 2007 and 2015.

He contested as the running mate to Adamawa State gubernatorial candidate, Aliyu Modibbo, who contested on the platform of Social Democratic Party, SDP.

The former lawmaker was said to have died on Sunday. The cause of his death was unknown.
