Joe Will Not Bow, Joe Is Not Out

Yesterday, Dear Joe suffered a blazing jolt

When arsonists that are very well known

But falsely paraded as gunmen unknown

Stormed, at daytime, his treasured country home.

Arriving, into the mighty house they broke

On prized chattels, poured jerrycans of petrol

Set house alight, glad Joe has been dealt a blow

Done, marched boldly away to their own homes.

Joe, these murderers and anarchists on the prowl

Surely, shall soon in the furnace of justice roast

To infamy do not bow; to fear do not kowtow

Your tree isn’t felled, cut branch shall again grow.
