Jubilation Greets Parradang’s Suspension At Immigration Headquarters

imagePersonnel of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) at the national headquarters of the service are in jubilation mood following the suspension of their boss, David Parradang.

A visit to the NIS headquarters in Sauka to feel the pulse of personnel following the incident and revealed that most of of them were in support of the action taken on their boss.

Members of staff were seen in groups from the main gate to the offices, cracking jokes and laughing on top of their voices in support of the development.

A group in one of the conference rooms was seen singing in Hausa language “Ma su gudu, su gudu” meaning “those who want to run should run,” a popular song of the Buhari supporters.

It was gathered that Parradang’s style of administration was not popular; and there was too much secrecy in the service under his reign.

The NIS boss was suspended on Friday, in a statement signed by the Director of Press in the Ministry of Interior, Isiaka Yusuf, and made available to the press.
Parradang was asked to proceed on suspension while the service’s most senior Deputy Comptroller General, Martin Kure Abeshi, was directed to take over.
