General Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s president-elect, visited his farm at Daura, his hometown in Katsina state, on Tuesday.
Accompanied by a few aides, Buhari was spotted at the cow section, looking on with admiration.
Prior to his election, little or nothing was known about his private investment. Buhari entering the farm.
At a point, the directorate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) even taunted him that he could he not manage the country’s economy because unlike other former heads of state, Buhari did not even have a sachet water manufacturing factory.
“We believe that our dear general would have done himself proud even if all he could do was to set up a pure water manufacturing business that could keep younger Nigerians around him in gainful employment,” Femi Fani-Kayode said in a statement.
“Yet, even this he failed to do. This is a man that wants to be elected president of a country that has the largest economy in black Africa.”
