The city of Lagos burst at the seams, literally, last Sunday, October 25, when Mojisola Tejuosho celebrated her 50th birthday. The very stylish society lady marked her day with a grand party which was put together by her husband, Dr. Femi Tejuosho, a distinguished member of the Senate, and an established medical doctor, who was among those who pioneered the Silverspoon Kids clique within the society.

The ELITES gathered that the classy birthday party, which was exclusively covered by Ovation International Media, was held at Jade Gardens Restaurant, Isaac John, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. The planning of Moji’s 50th birthday also got a boost with the moral support, rendered by her family, the Okoyas and her in-laws, the Oba Adedapo Tejuosho family.

Born into the prominent Okoya family, Moji is the second daughter of foremost industrialist and billionaire, Chief Rasak Akanni Okoya, the chairman of Eleganza Group of Companies. She is the first of the children between Okoya and his first wife Alhaja Kuburat Olayinka Okoya.

Unknown to most people, Okoya had two children before he got married to Kuburat Olayinka. While not much is known about his first son, his second and first daughter, Basirat is very much active withint he society. However, she always chooses to operate on a low-key level.

Basirat, who also clocked 50 last year, is married to Eddie Otudeko, the famous Lagos big boy and businessman, and she lives with her family in GRA, Ikeja.

The marriage of Moji and Lanre Tejuosho in 1987, is regarded as one of the most celebrated weddings in Nigerian media history, being preceded by a blitz the size and extent of which had never been seen before or since. It has in fact, become, the flagship of celebrity weddings within the Nigerian social establishment.

In 2013, Wuraola, the first product of that marriage, got married to Ayodele Aina, the son of Modupe Oguntade and step-son of Justice Adesola Oguntade. The marriage has produced a son, thus making Moji and Lanre Tejuosho grandparents.
