Love is a beautiful feeling. Nothing is more awesome than seeing two beautiful souls deeply in love with each other. It is definitely the best feeling in the world when you find someone who makes your heart skip a beat.

The above may sound like a line from a movie script, but it is actually the love journey of Dr. Adesola Kazeem Adeduntan, the chief executive officer and group managing director of First Bank Group; and his heartthrob, Adenike, both of who met more than three decades ago.

Though they are celebrating their 24 years of blissful union, it still looks like they married yesterday because the love flame is passionately blazing hot.

Adesola and Adenike started off as childhood friends as far back as when they were in their junior grades, or primary school as they call it and they have remained inseparable even from their wedding day 24 years ago.

In today’s world where people hook up in marriage today and find reason to go their separate ways tomorrow, the couple deserves a thumbs-up for holding onto each other and racing towards their third decade together.

Dr. Adeduntan is perching on the pinnacle of success today and he owes everything to his lovely wife, Adenike who has remained a source of profound inspiration all the way up.

The couple is always quick to describe the they were joined together 24 years ago, as “the best days of their lives.” They had tied the marital knot amidst prayers and goodwill of family and friends.

“Every year since then, they both agree that there are a lot to be grateful to Allah for. They are grateful to God for their lives, children, families and the love that binds them together.

Indeed, God has been extremely kind to Adesola and Adenike Adedutan and there is not one of His blessings they will ever deny.

Their prayer remains simple: As time and life march on and sometimes pull on that cord that binds them, they pray that their marital knot continue to grow stronger and more resilient.
