The wife of the Sokoto State Governor and founder of MMAWT legacy initiative, Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, was a keynote speaker at a conference, which held last Thursday, in Lagos.

The theme of the conference was, ‘Vulnerable To Abuse: Ending Abuse Against Women and Girls In Nigeria

The event which held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Alausa, Ikeja Lagos, featured prominent campaigners against Women and Children abuse, who met and rubbed minds on issues, related to the problem and ways forward.

The event was attended by representatives of Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole, Mrs Bolanle Ambode, Dr Mr Taiwo Afolabi Prof Ariyo Olagoke, Chief (Mrs) Priscillia Kuye, the first female president of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA), and many others
