Mother of veteran Nollywood actress, Dr. Abimbola Silva stirred the hearts of other Nigerians when she appeared to exercise her civic duty in wheel chair at Doula Polling Unit, Apapa, GRA, Lagos State.

The 89-year-old mother of Nollywood actress, Joke Silva told a Punch correspondent that voting was her fundamental right.

Unshackled by old age and impaired movement, she said, “It is my right to vote.

By doing this I am laying a good example for the younger generation. The exercise has been ok,” she said.
