The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has celebrated his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, on the occasion of her 75th birthday, describing her as his most cherished companion and the pillar of the Adeboye’s family.
Pastor Adeboye, 81, said this during the occasion of his wife’s 75th birthday, which was held on Thursday, July 13. He took to popular social media platforms, like Facebook and Instagram, to share beautiful pictures with his wife and praised her for being an example worthy of emulation.
Adeboye and wife are fondly called Daddy and Mummy GO (General Overseer). While pouring encomium on her, he described his wife as the source of his strength and inspiration.
According to him, he considers himself truly blessed to have in his life, Pastor Foluke, whom he met while still in school, adding that he is filled with gratitude for every single day they have spent together.
He said, “As we celebrate this momentous day, marking your 75th birthday, I want to express my deepest love and admiration for you. Throughout the years, you have been the pillar of our family, a source of strength and inspiration, and my most cherished companion.
“Our shared journey has been adorned with happiness, laughter, and the occasional hurdle. Yet, amidst it all, your unwavering love and support have illuminated my path. Your wisdom, grace, and kindness have touched the lives of those around us, and I am forever grateful to have you by my side.
“As we reminisce on the beautiful memories we have woven together, I am reminded of the countless moments that have defined our love. From the simple joys of everyday life to the grand adventures we have embarked upon, each experience has been enriched by our togetherness.
“Today, as we honour your remarkable 75th birthday, I want to celebrate the incredible person you are. Your selflessness, compassion, and generosity serve as an inspiration to us all. Your love knows no bounds, and your unwavering dedication to our family has been awe-inspiring.

Also on her on Instagram handle, Pastor Folu shared a video of herself dancing to the song ‘Omo Mi Seun Rere’.
She said, “What more can I say than Thank You Jesus. My heart is so filled with Joy, so much that I cannot comprehend. For as many that have joined in to celebrate God in my life today, the things of joy won’t depart from your homes in Jesus name.”
Adeboye and his wife had their court wedding on 8 September 1967 and the church wedding on 16 December 1967. The union is blessed with four children and many grandchildren.
