First Lady and wife of the governor of Ogun State, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun has been described as a charming lady of virtue and an epitome of womanhood.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) consensus aspirant in Ogun East Senatorial District and Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru made this statement in felicitation with Mrs. Amosun’s 52nd birthday anniversary.

According to Otunba Ashiru, “Mrs. Amosun represents everything in an ideal woman: devoted, dutiful, delightful and diligent, these among many other qualities are like her second nature not to talk of her humanitarian spirit which has put smiles on the faces of the depressed and downtrodden in the society”.

“Standing firmly behind her husband, Senator Ibikunle Amosun in the mission to rebuild the State, Mrs. Amosun’s perseverance, faith and patience make her extra-ordinary and there is no denying the fact that her staunch support really encouraged the governor in no small measure in the onerous resolve to move Ogun State to higher levels”.

“Her Foundation; UPLIFT has been at the forefront in the provision of various intervention schemes aimed at providing succour for the needy in the areas of economic empowerment, skill acquisition, assistance to the vulnerable, provision of primary health care and scholarship for indigent students”.

He then on behalf of his family congratulate the first family of Ogun State most sincerely on this auspicious occasion as he wishes Mrs. Amosun a much longer life and prosperity in good health.
