President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday, July 13, received Akinwunmi Ambode, a former governor of Lagos, at the Aso Villa.
Both leaders were meeting for the second time since Tinubu became Nigerian president on May 29.
Ambode, who was the governor of Lagos between 2015 and 2019, was present when the state government hosted Tinubu at a reception on June 30.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and another former governor and immediate past Works Minister, Babatunde Raji Fashola were some of the dignitaries who co-hosted Tinubu to the reception in Lagos.
It was a memorable event which reunited the quartet of Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu saddled at different times with the responsibility of governing the state with Sanwo-Olu currently in the saddle.
Members of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) also attended the reception.
