The road for extradition to the United States of America (USA) to face charges of drug trafficking started very early of Saturday, 23rd May, 2015 for Senator-elect, Buruji Kasahmu.

It was learnt that about 50 security operatives mainly from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the US Drug Law Enforcement Agency have stormed the Lagos home of the businessman turned politician to effect his arrest and possibly extradite him to the US.

Sources disclosed that, initially, the security operatives did not gain access into the house but latest report confirmed that they have succeeded in gaining entry into the house but have not sighted their target.
