One of Nigeria’s most formidable matriarchs and style icons, Lolo Ngozi Nkoloenyi, has added a new feather to her cap.

She was recently conferred with the chieftaincy of Nne Ora (Mother of all) of Ibute-Egede community in Enugu State.

The title was conferred on her by HRH Igwe, Dr Peter Ikenna Okwesili, the Mmirinezoroba 1 of Ibute-Egede, during an event, held on January 5, 2022, to commemorate the first Ofala Celebration of Igwe Okwesili.

Lolo Nkoloenyi was favourably considered for the title for the positive impact her medical outreach has made on the lives of the people of Ibute-Igede, coupled with the patriotic contributions of her late husband, Igwe Chief Paul Ofodile Nkoloenyi (Enyi Kwo Nwa), in uplifting the course of the community.

An accomplished fashion designer and businesswoman, Igwe Lolo Nkoloenyi is the chief executive officer of Bloomingale, an upscale fashion company. It has a subsidiary, La Valerie, which stocks all fashion items – fabrics, shoes, hats, jewelry and other necessaries.

Since the death of her husband, the fashion maven has been occupied with raising her children, running the family business and playing the dotting granny to her grandchildren.

A well-travelled lady and an avid reader, Lolo Nkoloenyi is one of the most admired matriarchs within the Nigerian social establishment. She bagged her first and second degrees from the University of Lagos.
