Africa’s manufacturing magnate and venerated style icon, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Noimot Okoya was the major head turner during the 2022 national honours awards conferred on 450 Nigerians and non-Nigerians by the Federal Government.

The formidable businesswoman received the Member of the Order of the Niger, MON award.

The awards ceremony was presided by presented by President Muhammadu Buhari on October 11, 2022 at the State House in Abuja.

Okoya is the deputy managing director of Eleganza Industrial City Limited, and wife of Aare Rasaq Akanni Okoya, the Aare of Lagos and chairman/CEO of Eleganza Group of Companies.
