Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, the mother of the two Boston Marathon bombers, says the U.S. will eternally burn for sentencing her surviving son, Dzhokhar, to death for the 2013 attacks.
With her terrorist son sentenced to die, the Boston Marathon bombers’ mother is apparently finding comfort in believing that the U.S. will burn “in the flames of an eternal and terrifying fire.”
The fiery words spouted by Zubeidat Tsarnaeva were sent to supporters of her 21-year-old son, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who on Friday was sentenced to join his older brother in death for the fatal 2013 attacks, Vocativ reported.
“They think that they are killing us and they celebrate this, but we are the ones who will rejoice when Allah grants us the chance to behold them in the flames of an eternal and terrifying fire, an otherworldly flame,” the enraged mom reportedly wrote Sunday in a WhatsApp message.
Three people were killed and hundreds were injured after two bombs went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. An MIT security guard was also shot dead days later.
Zarina Kasenova, who claimed to have received the message, said it was one of several sent by Tsarnaeva over the weekend.
The Russian-native mother has long defended her son’s innocence, even after he admitted to the attack that killed three people and injured 260 more. He also admitted to the murder of an MIT security guard, which happened days after the marathon.
On Friday Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, seen at the age of 19, was sentenced to death by lethal injection for his role in the 2013 attacks.
After Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted of all 30 counts connected to the terror attacks, Tsarnaeva messaged her son’s supporters while calling him “the best of the best.”
When he was found guilty she turned to Twitter to exclaim: “America is the real terrorist and everyone knows that.”
