The entertainment industry recently ballooned with the entrance of Ogheneyoma Azania Dodo. The innately talented 11-year old music sensation is a Dublin based Singer and Songerwriter born in Galway City in the Republic of Ireland.
Yoma, as she is fondly called, was born into a music-loving family. Her maternal grandfather was a singer and her mother, Primrose Obata Dodo, is a member of the Choir at CACC Dublin. Her aunt, is Nneka Obata is the popular America-based music sensation.
Yoma developed a passion for music at a very young age. She grew up surrounded by music and singing at home with her mother. Yoma also enjoys listening to the music of Beyonce, Chrisette Michelle, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Tasha Cobbs, Kirk Franklin, Sonnie Badu, Sammie Okposo, Bob Marely, Sia and Pastor Donnie McClurkin.
Yoma says her aim is to use her music to inspire and encourage people to trust in God, worship and appreciate Him for who He is.
Beyond her love for music, Yoma enjoys shopping, surfing the net, nail art, reading the bible, watching movies and football
She is a member of the CACC Youth Choir and the St. Teresa Primary School Choir, known as The Superstars.
