Veteran film producer, Tade Ogidan, has shown his excitement over the feat recorded by his younger colleague and mentee, Kunle Afolayan, whose current movie, October 1, has been receiving rave reviews.
Ogidan, who played host to Afolayan at his Surulere home, invited other celebrities to the surprise soirée.

The actor who was recently unveiled as ambassador for Air France shared the happy moment, posting photos from the event with the caption: “My journey started with these two. TK and Tade Ogidan. I feel highly honourned to be celebrated by a mentor, brother and senior colleague. Thank you, Egbon Tade Ogidan.
A cake in white and sky blue was made for the event. The picture of Afolayan adorns the cake, with the inscription: ‘Kunle Afolayan, Tade celebrates you’.
Faces at the event include Bimbo Manuel, Tunde Kelani and several other celebrities.
