The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, was recently humiliated by journalists during a press briefing, which took place in Aso Villa.

It was gathered that Okupe had called a press briefing, which was honoured by scores of journalists from various news medium. In the course of addressing the journalists, Okupe began to attack General Mohammadu Buhari, the APC Presidential candidate. Raising his voice to a strident crescendo, Okupe said Buhari will not be elected as president. The brazen manner in which he made this declaration incurred the anger of the pressmen, and they revolted by shouting him down. The reaction from the journalists aggravated Okupe the more and he became frustrated.
Before long, the briefing assumed a rancorous dimension, as the journalists began to shout “APC! APC! APC!
Okupe went on with his ranting. He strove harder to raise his voice above those of the ‘mutinous’ journalists, but it soon became obvious to him that the purpose for which he convened the briefing had been hijacked and defeated. The loquacious Presidential spokesman shouted one final time and left the podium, an angry and angrily and frustrated
