The matriarch of the Awolowo dynasty and Yeye Oba of Ile-Ife, Mama Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo, recently hosted Ile-Ife royal blood, Prince Adedamola Aderemi, her grand son-in-law, who paid her a visit at Ikenne, Ogun State.
Prince Aderemi, the grandson of Oba Adesoji Tadenikawo Aderemi (1889-1980), the Ooni of Ife (1930-1980), is married to Mama HID Awolowo’s grand daughter, Adekemi, the daughter of Reverend Tola Oyediran, (Mama’s surviving eldest child) who was also on the visiting entourage.


Prince Aderemi was accompanied by his wife Adekemi, children and his best friend of over 40 years, Bashorun Dele Momodu, the former presidential aspirant and publisher of Ovation International.
Prince Aderemi is a multi-jurisdictional barrister practicing both in the United Kingdom and with a thriving practice in Nigeria. His diverse range of skills has earned him high regards in global migration and Human Rights Law, and he is regularly consulted on Matrimony Law within Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Also, his experience has led to providing expert advice to the Attorney General of Nigeria within family and divorce cases and has been consulted in the past by Bar Council as authority on such cases.
