Last Thursday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, visited Benin for a two-day official visit. He was received at the airport by Gov Godwin Obaseki, top government officials and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Osinbajo held a private meeting with the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II at his Palace in Benin.

He was accompanied by the Governor Godwin Obaseki, his deputy and the former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole.

Osinbajo also inaugurated some projects in the state and he visited Azura Power Plant in Benin city, Edo State, where he inspects and interacts with engineers at the station.
