imageFormer Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has cautioned his political opponents from his sick bed not to chuckle at his present state of health.

The Senate Minority leader who was involved in a road accident in Abuja and was flown to London for medical care, on Saturday opened a Twitter account, which now has over 500 followers.

In a tweet, the accident victim expressed gratitude to the immediate past president, the incumbent president, the vice-president and the senate president but cautioned his adversaries not to rejoice over his predicament.

“Thank you Nigerians for your prayers. I appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki and others for their calls.

“I also thank former President, Goodluck Jonathan, members of our party, friends and loved ones for their calls and show of affection. God bless you. Though down, am not out, I will rise again,” Godswill Akpabio tweeted.
