The death has occurred of Alhaji Muhammad Banaru Abubakar (Barayan Gombe) aged 75 years.
He died at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi evening of Saturday, 21st November, 2015 after a protracted illness.
A seasoned administrator who has traversed all spheres of civil service from North-eastern Government rising through ranks, he retired as a Permanent S‎ecretary in the old Bauchi state in 1991.
He has held many political appointments including Federal Commissioner Federal Character Commission.
He will be buried on Sunday 22nd November, 2015, according to Islamic rites.
