President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday met with six governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.The governors include Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Kashim Shettima (Borno), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Ibrahim Gaidam (Yobe) and Rochas Okorocha (Imo).
The deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule, represented Governor Akinwumi Ambode.
The meeting, which took place behind closed doors, lasted several hours. There was no official statement on what was discussed as the governors left the Villa without talking to State House correspondents.
