Buhari’s Letter of Support For Change

imageDear Compatriot,

SUPPORT FOR CHANGE

First let me wish you a happy new year and express my optimism that it will be a much better year than the past.

As you are by now aware, the 2015 General Elections are upon us and they offer an opportunity to make a choice about the future and direction of Nigeria.

As the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, my Party and I offer you change on the 14th of February 2015 which is Election Day and incidentally Valentine Day, a day of love.

I also believe that the necessity for change is obvious to you because we are all witnesses to the series of broken promises by the incumbent government which is resulting in national insecurity, loss of innocent Nigerian lives and territories, corruption and a mismanaged economy.

We can CHANGE that if we work together to implement the Manifesto of APC (www.apcpressreleases.com), but there is one thing we must do together.

Elections cost money to get the message to voters, to advertise, travel to rallies, rent venues and do so many things which often no one individual can afford.

I believe that you are one of the millions of Nigerians who are seeking change and this is why I am writing to you to join our increasing number of change Ambassadors by contributing to the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign.

No amount will be too small, but every contribution brings more than its weight in value. It enables us to form a critical mass to build the consensus from the bottom to CHANGE a bad government.

It also helps to clean up our politics by making campaign spending a participatory process.

I have appointed Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, Governor of Lagos State as the Director of the Fund Raising team and he will be contacting you.

It is my fervent hope that Nigeria will change for the better for you and all you cherish in 2015 and beyond as you contribute to our movement for CHANGE.

General Muhammud Buhari (Rtd)
APC Presidential Candidate
