Forte Oil Plc, Nigeria’s renowned indigenous major marketer of refined petroleum products on Wednesday debunked reports making waves on social media that it reduced its pump price of Premium Motor Spirit also known as petrol to N115 per litre.
In a concise statement via its Twitter handle @ForteOilNg, the firm said: “Our attention has been drawn to a reduction in price to 115 NGN at our gas stations, This is false.

“Forte Oil Plc would use its official handles to inform its customers and the buying public of any price change. We therefore inform our customers and the buying public to ignore these false rumours as they are untrue and we disassociate ourselves from same.”

Forte Oil Plc is owned by top Nigerian Billionaire, Femi Otedola, who is a foremost indigenous major marketer of refined petroleum products with a strong presence in the thirty-six states of Nigeria and Abuja.
