Governor Wike’s Media Adviser, Inko-Tariah Resigns

imageOpunabo Inko-Tariah, media adviser to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has resigned.

His resignation came less than two weeks after Wike publicly denounced the statement issued by the adviser which described the Supreme Court dismissal of his appeal on relocation of election tribunal to Abuja and the nullification of his election as ” judicial gang up” and “Judicial terrorism”.

In his letter of resignation, Inko Tariah accused his boss of starvation of funds and stubbornness in heeding professional media advice.

He however thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve in his government.

Inko-Tariah was the publisher of HardTruth, a Port Harcourt based tabloid .

He was an ally of former Governor Chibuike Amaechi, before pitching political camp with Governor Wike.

In a swift reaction the APC in Rivers state hailed Inko Tariah’s action as courageous for finally deciding to dump Wike and the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP government.

The party called all well meaning Rivers people to dump the Government as the Governor never prepared to govern the state but to propagate personal agenda, accusing him of seizing the local government funds.

The statement was signed by Chris Finebone, its Publicity Secretary.
