One of the most influential businessmen in the south western part of Nigeria, Akinade Fijabi, has added another feather to his cap. He was conferred with the title of Asiwaju of Ibadanland, by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji.

The chieftaincy ceremony took place yesterday, Friday, May 13, at the palace of the Olubadan, and it was witnessed by a handful of family members and close friends.

Beyond being a successful businessman, Fijabi, 59, is also a political gladiator in Oyo State. The popular socialite and his best friend, K1 De Ultimate are said to be planning big, towards their 60th birthday celebrations next year.
