PDP Mourns Plateau Guber Candidate,​ ​Pwajok

imageThe acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus, has mourned the sudden death of the party’s flag bearer in the 2015 governorship election in Plateau state, Gyang Pwajok.
Mr. Pwajok’s death was confirmed to journalists via telephone on Thursday by the Head of his media team during the electioneering, Chuwang Dung.
Mr. Dung however said an official statement would be issued by the late Mr. Pwajok’s family later.

It was gathered that Pwajok died late Wednesday in an Indian hospital.

“We are indeed shocked by the news of the loss of this strong, committed and outstanding party man, especially coming at the time when he was still pursuing justice on his deprived victory at the April 11 governorship election.

“Senator Pwajok lived a patriotic citizen and a brilliant lawmaker who gave his all and discharged his responsibilities with unequalled forthrightness, loyalty and commitment to the development of his state and our dear fatherland in general.

“The PDP family nationwide joins the immediate family of Senator Pwajok and our fold in Plateau state in mourning and praying God to grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” PDP said.
