Armed robbers and policemen are presently engaged in heavy shooting following a robbery attack on First Bank and another bank in Ikorodu this morning.

A tweet by the police and citizen reporters confirmed the report, although PM News is yet to confirm the report. The police has however warned residents around the area to steer clear the ongoing fire exchange. “Our officers are responding to armed robbery at #Ogolonto, Ikorodu Lagos. Citizens are advised to stay off vicinity.”

Wasiu Oladiran also sent a warning message to Lagosians via email. “Heavy shooting at zenith bank ebute Ikorodu near dangote factory by armed robbers. @PoliceNG.”
