President of the Senate, Dr. Olubukola Saraki has condoled the senator representing Ondo Central, Donald Tayo Alasoadura over the death of his wife, Mrs. Adetayo Alasoadura on Thursday.

Saraki, who led other members of the upper chamber including the Leader of the Senate, Ali Ndume to his residence in Akure, said the sudden death was a big loss to their colleagues. “For the short time which our colleague has spent in the Senate, we feel his leadership roles and know that this is a big shock to him and the Senate at large,” he said.

Similarly, Governor Olusegun Mimiko, in his condolence message issued by the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kayode Akinmade, described the death of Mrs. Alasoadura as sad and unfortunate. While also describing the passing away of the departed as a great loss, Mimiko said all would miss the late her, especially when she had to bid the world goodbye at an unripe age.

According to the governor, death is a sure end for every mortal, adding that “since it is God alone who determines when one leaves this world, it has only pleased Him to call her home at this time.”

They prayed God to grant the bereaved senator and his entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
