The 14th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, on Saturday, 15 October, 2022, paid a condolence visit to the Shagaya family over the loss of its matriarch, Alhaja Sahadat Abdulraheem at the family residence in GRA Ilorin, Kwara State. 

The deceased, who died on Sunday, 9 October, was the mother of Hajia Bola Muinat Shagaya, MON, the billionaire business magnate. 

Emir Sanusi was received by Fadilat Sheikh AbdulKadir Alfa Oba-Solagberu, Sarkin Malamai Ubandoma of llorin on behalf of the family. 

He prayed to God to bestow His blessings, forgiveness and mercy upon the soul of Mama.

He also beseeched the Almighty Allah to grant Muktar Shagaya,  

tremendous success at the polls, come 2023 general elections.
