The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God,  Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has been conferred with his eighth doctorate degree.

Adeboye received the honorary degree on Thursday night during the fourth day of the church’s 2022 Holy Ghost Congress tagged ‘Double Portion.’

The degree was conferred on Adeboye by the President of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, at the Redemption Camp ground  in Ogun State.

Oral Roberts University (ORU) is a private evangelical university. It was founded in 1963 by Evangelist Oral Roberts.

The university offers over 70 undergraduate degree programs along with 20 graduate programs across six colleges.

Most popular majors include ministry and leadership, nursing, engineering, psychology, and business administration.

The university enrols approximately 4,000 students.
